This story has become my everything. I chip away at this screenplay in my free time. Work in progress.

Frustratingly vague elevator pitch:

Two childhood friends try to make it as actors in early 1990s LA. They encounter the pinnacle of the city’s demands all while navigating love, lust, & everything in between. Here are the first 7 pages. Contact me if you would like to read more. I hope you like blood.

“I’m handing this order off to a co-worker and coming to LA. To live with you.…”

Like this intro, I wrote this short story without the letter "a". The novelty helped me develop new writing skills.

Three miles from the wedding grounds, Lilly rested beside tree stumps in order to recoup her energy. The sky bled with murky crimson clouds, further tormenting Lilly’s injured spirit. Her unforgiving pop, Hugo, ordered her to wed the future king of Sweden, the young, exquisite Oliver. Hugo preferred this proposition, considering how it entered the Lindgren title into high society. Unluckily for Hugo, one issue lived within his scheme; Oliver exhibited monstrous impulses.

A detailed dissection of Donald Glover’s Atlanta and its relation to racism in modern America.

Donald’s Glover’s Atlanta is nothing short of a cultural masterpiece, continuously shedding a white-hot light on underrepresented and misunderstood societal outlooks. Episode 7 of season 1, B.A.N.,focuses on “Montague”, a fictional talk show that airs on the also fictional B.A.N. (Black American Network). This intensely unique episode of Glover’s award-winning series is a conglomeration of satirical remakes to widely-known brands, hysterically drawing our attention to ‘what everyone is really thinking’.
